We believe that all students can be successful learners if they have caring instructors and high expectations from themselves and their teachers. ACCLAIM students have abundant opportunities to build strong, early foundations of knowledge in a success-oriented environment.

Having classes every week in all subject areas as well as Spanish, music, art and fitness develops the whole child and results in more academic success. Weaving the Virtues Project into instruction throughout the day helps students develop the Virtues of Excellence, Purposefulness, Determination, Patience, and Confidence which have a positive impact on academic achievement.

Using a variety of teaching strategies keeps the lessons interesting and helps students stay engaged. Here are some examples that teachers at ACCLAIM include daily in their lessons:
